Marketing for real estate agents

About Marketing For Realtor

Marketing For Realtor exists for one reason: to help real estate agents, teams and brokers understand what good marketing involves, and to make it easy to ask for a written proposal from someone who does it.

What this site is

Marketing For Realtor is an independent referral service, not a marketing agency. When you send the form, your details go to an independent marketing agency that prepares any proposal and does any work.

The site does no marketing work itself. It does not build websites, run ads, write posts or shoot video. It explains the work in plain words, using what Google, the FTC and federal housing rules actually say, and it passes your request to an independent agency that works with real estate professionals across the United States.

How it works

  1. You send the short form with your market, your role and what you want most.
  2. Your details go to an independent marketing agency that works with real estate agents.
  3. The agency can study your market, contact you by phone or email with questions, and prepare a written proposal.
  4. You decide. Asking is free and you never have to hire anyone.

What the guides are built on

Every rule and quote on this site comes from a published source, named where it is used:

  • Google’s own help pages for Search, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Local Services Ads.
  • The Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), its rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465) and its CAN-SPAM compliance guide.
  • The federal Fair Housing advertising rule (24 CFR 100.75), published by HUD.
  • The National Association of REALTORS, on its membership marks.

The site publishes no statistics it cannot source, no prices and no promises of results. Google says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking, and this site will not pretend otherwise.

Why the site never ranks agencies

Many pages that come up when you search for real estate marketing are lists of named agencies. This site does not rank, rate or review agencies. The FTC’s rule on consumer reviews bars a business from misrepresenting that a website it controls gives independent reviews or opinions about a category of businesses, and a referral site that passes requests to an agency should not pretend to judge that agency. Instead, the guides show you how to judge any proposal yourself.

A note on the name

REALTOR is a federally registered collective membership mark of the National Association of REALTORS, which says the mark is for use by its members in connection with their real estate business, not as a general word for an agent. Marketing For Realtor is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS. The word appears here only in the site’s name and in notes like this one; the pages say real estate agents.

The site summarizes rules so you can ask better questions. It is general information, not legal advice. For a legal question, ask a lawyer; for a question about your license, ask your broker or your state’s real estate commission.
